Hilton Head National opened its doors officially on November 1, 1989. The course is a Gary Player design and incorporates many of Gary's philosophies on golf course layout. Officially opened in the July of 1988, the Jack Nicklaus designed golf course at St Mellion is regarded as one of the finest in Europe.
